Perhaps now is as good a time as any to tell you that I enjoy the art of buy bulletproof vest especially. I wouldn't call it a guilty pleasure exactly. Although, I do get a pang of that particular feeling when I spend too much on my hobby. I do work hard for my money, and I think that a benefit of this is that I get to spend it on any new toy that I please. But I did grow up middle class. we never wanted for anything that we needed, but my parents certainly didn't have the money to indulge themselves in whatever pastimes that they wanted.

My parents must have had many interests that they would have liked to pursue, I'm sure. I think that's where that tinge of guilt comes from whenever I spend what, in my estimation, is too much money when I go and add to my collection by buy bulletproof vest. I wish that my mother and father had more of a chance to just spend their money on things like these. Things that served no other purpose than to make them happy that they own them. Let's face it, there is no prectical reason why I would really need to buy bulletproof vest. It's not like I have any safety concerns. Adding to my collection just makes me happy. That's all there is to it.
I wish I could have given my parents more of a taste of this sort of lifestyle when they were around. They worked hard to put me through college and to allow me the luxury of a decent job. I wish I could have given something back to them, even if it was only a fraction of what they gave me. I guess the best way to explain it is that I feel that guilt sometimes when I buy bulletproof vest simply because they couldn't have. It's probably hard to understand where I'm coming from with that.
I haven't told many people about the way that I feel sometimes. But one of the friends that I have confided in has mentioned that he thought it was nonsensical. Perhaps it is. But we can't help how we're wired sometimes. But enough of that for now. There should be no regrets in collectibles. I guess it's just fresh on my mind because I recently went to buy bulletproof vest for myself.
I got the itch to add to my collection, so I did. And yes, I did try it on. I don't just put everything in a glass case. I play with things. That's half the fun of having them. It's an interesting feeling having one on, like you're supremely protected. Nothing can hurt you. As the song goes, you are ten feet tall and bullet proof. Literally. Well, I'm only ten feet tall if I stand on a crate, but the other part is true enough, at least. Just feeling that way for a bit was worth a trip to buy bulletproof vest in itself.
