Some people do not get my fascination with body armor for sale. As a result, I hardly ever decide that it's a good idea to share it right off. I am just as enthusiastic as ever about the subject though. I am a collector, first and foremost. Not so much of weapons, which is what most are fascinated with more than anything. I suppose that I can see the attraction. It's not that I don't see the beauty in a well-crafted sword, or vintage pistol. It boggles my mind to think that a real live human being is going to be using, or has used body armor for sale. I'm not just talking about current stuff. I mean, all the way back to knights and their armored suits. The body armor for sale that came out of medieval times is superb. It sends me off into a daydream just thinking about it. Knights on horseback. Chivalry, honor, and a code to live by. I guess the mystique behind it all appeals to me as much as anything else. I am tempted to try my hand at jousting. But that does look to be painful.
My hobby isn't only limited to things not of this century though. Not by any means. The body armor for sale that I look for comes in all shapes. The modern day vestments of protection are just as intrigueing to me as anything else.
Our methods of combat have changed so much over the centuries. Gunpowder was the most revolutionary invention when it comes to that, of course. But something that I find to be nearly its equal as far as these advancements go is the body armor for sale that they have come up with to counter these guns. Like a constant escalation on both sides. Aggression and protection. The perfect balance that has existed through the ages.
I enjoy the position in history that we all collectively live in nowadays. There is unprecedented access to knowledge and the ability to look back into history and grasp the larger picture. It amazes me when I think of how much these tools of battle have progressed. How effective they have become is somewhat unsettling. But I do still enjoy looking at the practical side of danger.
Like I said to begin with, not everyone shares my passion. Some will understand my hobby and others will not. I only wish that I had more time and money to devote to collecting both antique and modern day pieces of our history. Even if warfare is distasteful, I think everyone would have to admit that it is a large part of what mankind has engaged in through its existence. That is another important aspect of collecting for me. No matter if it's a modern day piece or something form another period, I feel like I am holding a bit of history right in my hands whenever I examine body armor for sale these days.
